KMV celebrates National Unity Day with full zeal and enthusiasm 

Jalandhar, October 31, 2022:  Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) celebrated National Unity Day with full zeal and enthusiasm. On this day dedicated to the birth anniversary of the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, a special Run for Unity was organised in the college campus. The whole event was organised jointly by Department of Student Welfare, Red Ribbon Club, NCC & NSS. During the event, the students of the Physical Education Department raised patriotic slogans in order to motivate others to maintain the unity and integrity of the country, work together with each other & to spread the message of nation building and development. 

Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi addressing on the occasion, expressed her devotion towards Sardar Patel and averred that while this day is making us all understand about the power of being together, at the same time the unity, integrity and security of the country is also needs to be maintained at every cost. She further maintained that it becomes the moral responsibility of all of us to celebrate this day in India, a country of unity in diversity and to create fraternal feelings among people and to inspire them towards social development. 

Principal lauded the efforts of Dr. Madhumeet, Dean, Department of Student Welfare, Dr. Davinder Singh, Sufalica Kalia for organising this successful event.
