KMV Celebrates International Sudoku Day to boost Students' Logical and Analytical Skills

Jalandhar, September 9, 2026: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) PG Department of Mathematics celebrated International Sudoku Day through an engaging activity titled “Sudoku – The Mind Game!”. The activity aimed to promote logical reasoning, concentration, problem-solving skills, and mental agility among students.
Fifty students from different streams including M.Sc. (Mathematics) (FYIP) Sem I, III, V, VII; M.Sc. (Mathematics) Sem I, III; BA/B.Sc. Sem I, III, V participated enthusiastically in the Sudoku challenge and enjoyed solving the puzzle while applying their analytical and logical thinking skills. The activity provided an enjoyable and intellectually stimulating experience for the participants. The event successfully fostered an interest in Mathematics through a fun and challenging approach, reinforcing the spirit of “Challenge your Mind and Sharpen your Logic while having Fun”.
Director Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi appreciated the students for their enthusiastic participation and encouraged their involvement in such engaging and intellectually enriching activities.
