KMV celebrates Constitution Day with full zeal and enthusiasm

Jalandhar, November 26, 2021: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) celebrated Constitution Day with full zeal and enthusiasm. The celebration was organized by Department of Political Science in collaboration with 36-North Jalandhar constituency to commemorate Constitution Day. November 26 is observed as Constitution Day or ‘Samvidhan Diwas’ every year, which commemorates the adoption of the Constitution of India. During the celebration, a Poster making and Slogan writing competition was organized in which students from all streams participated with full zeal and enthusiasm. Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi emphasized on the importance of Constitution and reminded the students that the Constitution only gives people the right to pursue but you have to catch it yourself, so we have to stand for our own rights. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Dr Madhumeet, Mrs. Ashima Sahni, Dr. Iqbal Singh and Ms Zeenat for successfully organizing the celebrations of Constitution Day.
