Ludhiana, May 1, 2025: Within few hours of the incident, the Ludhiana Police have successfully arrested the accused persons involved for the robbery of a shopkeeper in Kitchlu Nagar on April 30.
Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora on Thursday visited the affected shopkeeper and personally handed over one of the stolen mobile phone recovered from the robbers. He assured the victim that the cash looted during the robbery will also be returned to him soon. He commended the Ludhiana Police for their effective action, stating, "The swift arrest of the robbers reflects the commitment of our police force to maintain law and order in the city."
MP Arora emphasized that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government is fully committed to the safety and security of all residents, particularly shopkeepers and small business owners. To further strengthen security measures, he announced an increase in Police Control Room (PCR) activities in the Kitchlu Nagar area.
This initiative will enhance police patrolling and vigilance to deter anti-social elements and ensure a safer environment for the community.
MP Arora also assured shopkeepers of enhanced security arrangements, including regular police patrols and improved coordination with local business associations to address their safety concerns.
He added that the AAP government is working tirelessly to provide a secure environment for shopkeepers and all residents. The police will continue to strengthen their presence and response mechanisms to prevent such incidents," he stated.
