Jalandhar, October 10, 2023: "Kheda Watan Punjab Diya" a sports event was held in sports college Jalandhar , on 4th and 5th October ,2023 which was a resounding success, under the meticulous planning and execution under the guidance of NIRMAL(Dpe)GSSS Chitti.
The event not only provided a platform for young athletes to showcase their talents but also promoted the spirit of sportsmanship and community engagement.
DRV DAV Centenary Public School Phillaur made a remarkable impression at the event, showcasing their sporting prowess. In the various age categories, they secured impressive results:
Silver Medal for Boys in the Under 14 category
Gold Medals for both Girls and Boys in the Under 17 age group.
Another Gold Medal in the Under 21 category.
Dr. Yogesh Gambhir, the Principal of the School extended his heartfelt congratulations to all the players who secured these gold medals and their mentor Ranjit for putting his efforts to train them. He emphasized the importance of participating in such activities and encouraged them to strive for even higher achievements in the future.
