Kanya Maha Vidyalaya commences on line teaching learning management program

Jalandhar: In the wake of the suspension of  teaching work by Government of  Punjab, Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (KMV) has introduced teaching learning management program to continue the classes through online modules, assignments, lectures, lessons, notes and tests. Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that in the present situation our students will continue to have classes through teaching management system online. The semester  is short and we want our students to continue their learning and studies without wasting time while sitting at home. Each teacher is continuing to teach the topics through recorded lessons, quiz etc. Online teaching taking recourse to e-education has been prevalent at KMV for many years. The college has 40 smart classrooms which are used to the utmost for the benefit of the students. PPTs and other audio video methods have also been of much help to the students but today's situation is very challenging as the classes have been unavoidably suspended for quite some time. thus students are expected to par take of the e-lecture from their home which is a new situation. The students have been provided with user ID and password. They will have online access to all e-learning lessons shred by their faculty. We, here at KMV  are fully determined and resolute that students should not suffer under any circumstances. Thus we have been in touch with them through WhatsApp facebook etc. and conveyed them about the recent development regarding the initiation of virtual classes. A day long workshop on learning management system has been organised for the faculty on this Saturday and the e-lectures have been commenced from today.
Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi concluded by lauding   the PG Department of Computer Science headed by Mrs. Suman Khurana and was very appreciative for Dr. Pardeep Arora for making presentation to the KMV faculty
