Hyderabad, May 22, 2024: Kamdhenu Limited, India's largest manufacturer and seller of branded TMT Bars in retail, proudly announces that it has trained over 14,000+ masons in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh in the last one year through its 'Mason Meet' initiative. This initiative was conceptualized with an aim of promoting safer construction in the country.

The company ensures regular interaction with the construction workers in groups of 70-75 every month in the region. Through such programs, the company disseminates the latest information regarding the construction sector to those who are involved in construction and masonry work. Kamdhenu also screens a specially crafted movie to make the meet more interactive and exciting for the participants.

Besides educating about the usage of steel in construction, the masons are also given detailed information about the company's innovative products such as the next generation interlock steel ‘Kamdhenu NXT’. The program has been receiving an enthusiastic response from the mason community.

Sunil Agarwal, Director, Kamdhenu Limited said, “We're pleased to share the success of our Mason Meet initiative, having trained over 14,000 masons in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh over the last year. Equipping them with the latest construction knowledge and promoting the use of high-quality products like Kamdhenu NXT is a critical step towards ensuring safer and more sustainable building practices in India. We believe in fostering continuous learning and appreciate the enthusiastic response from the mason community.  We look forward to expanding this initiative and contributing to the overall development of the construction ecosystem.”

The Mason Meet program was started in 2009 with the goal of up-skilling and equipping masons with a comprehensive understanding of structural safety and other key facets of construction. Kamdhenu’s goal is to benefit the construction ecosystem and uplift the nation's unskilled labor population. Apart from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, the company organizes such meets in various states of India in a phased manner every month.
