Chandigarh, February 13, 2026: The exhibition Kala–E–Ishq was organised at the Student Centre by the students of the University Institute of Fashion and Lifestyle Technology (UIFT). The event was conducted from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m and it featured participation from nearly 60 students who showcased customised gothic jewellery, apparel, watercolour artworks, lippan and canvas art, crochet creations, bracelets, gift cards, scrunchies, bows and hair pins, coasters, bookmarks, clay bouquets, press-on nails, pouches, keychains, scented soy wax candles, and handmade diaries. The exhibition attracted visitors from across the Tricity region.
The programme was convened by Dr. Kirti Sheoran under the guidance of Prof. Prabhdip Brar, Chairperson, UIFT & VD. It was coordinated by Palki Khurana (M.Sc. II) and Abhay (B.Sc. II), with valuable contributions from Anavi, Alisha, Aanya, Tanisha, Sam, and Nivedi. Faculty members also participated with enthusiasm. The initiative served as a structured platform for experiential learning, enabling students to develop competencies in product presentation, client interaction, and entrepreneurial practice within an academic environment.
