Jat Sikh Scholarship for LKC Students

Jalandhar: Ten students of Lyallpur Khalsa College were awarded scholarship of Rs. 50000 by the Jat Sikh Council today in brief function held in the college office. The beneficiaries of the scholarship included Mandeep Singh, Navjot Kaur, Sukhpreet Kaur Kamalpreet Kaur, Pardeep Kaur and Ramanpreet Kaur, Supreet Kaur, Bhupinder Singh, Ishpreet Singh and Dharminder Singh. 
Speaking on the occasion the Principal of the College Dr. GS Samra said that Lyallpur Khalsa College was committed to promote higher education in the region, adding that all possible efforts would be made to support meritorious and deserving students. The occasion was graced by the presence of S. Jagdeep Singh Shergill Governing Secretary, Jat Sikh Council, S. Parminder Singh Hayer Finance Secretary, S. Sarbjot Singh Lali, Office Secretary, S. Jatinder Singh Executive Member, and Col. AS Virk, Life Member of the Council and the senior teachers of the college.
