Ivy World School Celebrates an Eco-Friendly and Joyous Diwali with Creativity and Unity

Jalandhar, October 18, 2025: Under the aegis of Vasal Education, Ivy World School celebrated the festival of Diwali with immense enthusiasm and festive fervour. The celebration beautifully blended creativity, sustainability, and cultural spirit, reflecting the true essence of the festival of lights.
To mark this auspicious occasion, students participated in a Corner Decoration Activity based on the theme “Diwali Celebration.” The event fostered teamwork and artistic expression as students transformed classroom corners and display areas into vibrant festive spaces using “Best Out of Waste” materials. They crafted exquisite diyas, candles, paper torans, and rangoli designs — each radiating joy and environmental consciousness.
A pottery activity added to the excitement, where students joyfully shaped traditional diyas, gaining hands-on experience and a deeper connection to India’s cultural heritage. All decorative materials — including diyas, candles, colored papers, and rangoli supplies — were brought from home, reinforcing the values of sustainability, creativity, and resourcefulness.
The highlight of the celebration was the Rangoli competition, where students used eco-friendly colors and flower petals to design intricate patterns that symbolized positivity, harmony, and the triumph of light over darkness. Their artistry turned the school corridors into a radiant mosaic of colors, truly embodying the festive spirit.
The entire celebration illuminated the school with joy, unity, and an eco-friendly spirit. The President of Vasal Education, K.K. Vasal; Chairman, Sanjeev Kumar Vasal; Vice President, Ena Vasal; CEO, Raghav Vasal; and Director, Aditi Vasal lauded the students’ enthusiasm and creativity. Their appreciation and words of encouragement made the celebration a memorable and meaningful experience for everyone at Ivy World School.
