Ivy World Play School celebrated the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami with enthusiasm, devotion, creativity, and meaningful hands-on experiences under the esteemed guidance of the school management—Chairman Sanjeev Kumar Vasal, Vice President Ena Vasal, CEO Raghav Vasal, Director Aditi Vasal, Director/Principal Sanjeev Chauhan, and Headmistress Shefali Sharma—who continued to support and enrich the learning experiences of young learners.

Jalandhar, September 9, 2026: Ivy World Play School celebrated the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami with enthusiasm, devotion, creativity, and meaningful hands-on experiences under the esteemed guidance of the school management—Chairman Sanjeev Kumar Vasal, Vice President Ena Vasal, CEO Raghav Vasal, Director Aditi Vasal, Director/Principal Sanjeev Chauhan, and Headmistress Shefali Sharma—who continued to support and enrich the learning experiences of young learners.
The celebration offered children a beautiful blend of culture, creativity, nature, music, and traditional experiences, helping them connect with the stories and values associated with Lord Krishna and his childhood in Gokul and Vrindavan.
The young learners became “Nature Detectives,” exploring flowers and natural elements before creating beautiful flower decorations using Montessori needles. The activity nurtured observation, curiosity, creativity, concentration, fine-motor skills, and hand-eye coordination.
A special temple visit further enriched the celebration, during which children participated in traditional experiences such as offering a dupatta to Radha-Krishna and creating rangoli. These experiences helped them appreciate cultural traditions, develop respect for places of worship, and understand the values of gratitude and togetherness.
Adding to the festive spirit, the children presented a musical instrument performance at the temple, fostering confidence, coordination, rhythm, musical appreciation, and joyful self-expression.
Through “Yashoda’s Kitchen,” children explored the traditional process of churning butter, learning the steps involved in churning butter while connecting the experience with Krishna’s love for makhan. This encouraged sensory exploration, sequencing, observation, and an understanding of traditional culinary practices.
The Janmashtami celebration became a joyful journey of learning through doing, nurturing creativity, cultural awareness, observation, sensory learning, teamwork, confidence, and self-expression, while creating memorable experiences for the young learners.
