Ivy heralds the onset of winter with celebration

Jalandhar, January 13, 2024: Ivy World School, under the aegis of the Vasal Education Society organized the “Lohri Festival Celebration” in the school

An online introduction to the significance of the Lohri festival kicked off the virtual celebrations. For the celebration, Little Ivyains were dressed in traditional Punjabi attire. Through a virtual platform, a beautiful animated story about the significance of this harvest celebration was presented to the students.  The atmosphere was created by students singing traditional tunes, and soon everyone was tapping to the lively beat! The children were overjoyed when they were able to sit and enjoy the entire festival while eating their own special foods. The craft and art projects involved the little Ivyians. Students did kite crafts,  constructed lohri hampers, and  made dhol crafts.

The President of Vasal educational Society, K K Vasal, The Chairman Sanjeev Kumar Vasal, The Vice President Ena Vasal , The CEO Raghav Vasal and The Director , Aditi Vasal, wished the students and faculty a Happy Lohri. The Senior Principal, Ivy World School encouraged children to be progressive learners, and also expressed their thoughts that such festivals helps spread good cheer as well as enthusiasm.
