Ludhiana, May 5, 2025: Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora has asked the AAP volunteers to go to house to house in Ludhiana (West) assembly constituency for propagating the party and his achievements among the mases.

Addressing the meeting of the party volunteers here on Monday, Arora- the AAP candidate for Ludhiana (West) assembly seat added that he had done tremendous development work when he had not commitment for people. He said he would work four times more after getting elected in the election. He gave a detailed lesson to the party volunteers to tell people about him, his work and working style if people ask them why should they poll for Arora in the upcoming bypoll.

Arora said he became instrumental in completing those development projects which were stalled for the last 30 years. He highlighted some of the projects which were either completed or in the process of completion due to his concrete efforts. The projects named by him included Halwara Airport, upgradation/renovation of ESI and Civil Hospital, elevated road, four bridges along the Sidhwan Canal, 700 parking slots and construction of cycle track besides National Highways.

He said after announcement of his candidature for Ludhiana (West) assembly seat, he has got done development works within two months which should have been done in ten years. He added this will not be an end. The development will remain continue in the same speed in the future also. He thanked the party men for extending him full cooperation and support. He told to the party volunteer: “I’m contesting only on your behalf because I’m nothing without your support.” He added his victory will be the victory of the party’s volunteers.

Arora thanked the party’s national convener Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann for showing full faith in his capabilities and giving him bigger responsibilities. He said he is not a politician, adding that he has joined the politics only with an objective to serve people, state and the nation as well.

Principal Inderjeet Kaur, Mayor, said, “The party volunteers are working efficiently and wholeheartedly for Arora’s victory. They understand their responsibilities well. In fact, half the battle was won the day Arora’s candidature was announced.” She added Arora is a political “diamond”—his work speaks for itself. She said every minute is precious—let us make the fullest use of it. All volunteers must work unitedly to achieve a decisive and historic victory.

Rakesh Parashar, Senior Deputy Mayor, said maximum development in Ludhiana (West) has taken place with the visionary approach of Arora. He said Arora is a development-oriented, efficient, and dedicated leader. He asked the party men: “It is our collective responsibility to work with full strength and dedication to ensure a thumping victory for Arora.”

Prince Johar, Deputy Mayor, said this bypoll is not just another election—it will set the stage for the General Assembly elections in 2027. The pace of development work is commendable and continues to move ahead rapidly. He said, all the party men are working day and night to ensure the victory of Arora.

Among others, Amandeep Singh Mohie Chairman, Markfed; Dr Deepak Bansal; In-charge for Lok Sabha, Ludhiana; municipal councillors and ward in-charges and other party leaders were present on the occasion.
