IT Park will be ready in two years: MLA

Dharamsala: Vishal Naihariya BJP MLA of Dharamsala constituency said, “The proposed  IT Park of Dharamsala  will be ready in two years at  Chaitdu near Dharamsala airport and for it  Information Technology Department of Himachal  has signed a MoU with Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) on 11-06-2019.The work of the park is proposed to be completed by 30-06-2023.”
He added that approximately 2.9 acres of land which is located very close to Gaggal airport of Dharamsala, has been specifically earmarked for IT Park to promote IT investments in the state by the Department of Information Technology Himachal.
Naihariya said that with the creation of IT Park at Chaitdu in Dharamsala, the doors of employment will open for the youth of the area. He added that at present, a large number of youth from Himachal   are doing  their jobs in other  states, while many  have lost their jobs during the ongoing  Corona pandemic . ‘In such a situation, the creation of IT Park at Chaitdu  in Dharamshala will open the doors of employment for the unemployed youth of the state, said MLA.
