IPEC Ghaziabad Nodal Centre for National IDE Bootcamp 2026 Ignites Entrepreneurial Spirit in 187 Young Innovators
Inderprastha Engineering College (IPEC), an autonomous institute, has officially commenced its role as a premier Nodal Centre—one of only 13 selected nationwide—for the Innovation, Design & Entrepreneurship (IDE) Bootcamp 2026 (Edition 3, Phase I). Running from April 6th to April 10th, the 5-day residential program is a flagship initiative of the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC) and AICTE, in collaboration with the Wadhwani Foundation.

The virtual central inauguration ceremony featured a powerful address from the nation's academic leadership, including Prof. Yogesh Singh (Chairman, AICTE) and Dr. N. H. Siddalinga Swamy (Adviser-II, AICTE), who collectively underscored the role of such bootcamps in achieving India's 2047 economic vision.
The Vice Chairman Puneet Aggarwal, Campus Director Prof. (Dr) D. K. Sharma, and CEO of IPEC-TBI (The Business Incubator) Sajid Raza, reiterated that IPEC’s resources and globally networked ecosystem are a collaborative ground for nurturing entrepreneurs, innovators, engineers & managers. IPEC is not an institute for just earning a degree but for transforming from learners to founders.
During their Collaborative Innovation & Entrepreneurial Mindset Development Sessions, Prof. (Dr) Sachin Gupta and Dr Neelam Saxena, resource persons from the Wadhwani Foundation, illuminated the path from student to entrepreneur. They underscored that ‘design thinking' was at the core of the structural mindset required to navigate the journey of a successful startup & that innovation may not necessarily be only something new.
