Several programs were organized by the Ludhiana sub-zone of the Brahma Kumaris organization under the International Day of Yoga.

Ludhiana, June 22, 2023: Several programs were organized by the Ludhiana sub-zone of the Brahma Kumaris organization under the International Day of Yoga. It started with Brahmakumaris centre Vishwa Shanti Sadan Jhande, where BK. Raju Bhai, Vice-President Agriculture and Rural Development Wing, BK Sumant Bhai, Head Office Coordinator and BK Rajinder Bhai from Palwal, Haryana were present as chief guests from Mount Abu, the headquarter of Brahmakumaris. Raju Bhai congratulated the present members on International Yoga Day and told them the methods of keeping the mind healthy along with the body.


A lecture on 'Science and Spirituality in Agriculture' was organized at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) for agricultural scientists, research scholars, Ph.D. students and farmers engaged in organic farming. Dr. P.S. Brar, Director of Extension Education (GADVASU) and Dr. S.S. Walia, Director, School of Organic Farming were present as the chief guests. The brothers from Brahmakumaris headquarter told in detail about the work being done by the organization in Yogic farming.


On the occasion of Yoga Day, a program was also organized for the farmer brothers of Ludhiana at Vishwa Shanti Sadan. Raju Bhai, Rajendra Bhai and Sumant Bhai discussed about the use of Yog by giving practical examples explaining the relation between Yog and farming. BK Saraswati Didi, Sub-Zone Incharge of Brahma Kumaris Sanstha thanked everyone and gave spiritual blessings.


A two-day yog practice has been organized for spread peace in the world by the members of the Brahmakumaris organization. All brothers and sisters will spread positive vibrations through yog-practice for world peace.


On June 24, the memory day of Mateshwari Jagdamba Saraswati, the first former chief administrator of the Brahmakumaris organization, will be celebrated. Mateshwari Jagdamba Saraswati whom everyone lovingly called as Mamma. She worked for this organization with complete determination and always spent his life in the service of this organization. Mamma, fulfilling her duty as a mother, gave her full contribution in taking this organization forward and raising all the brothers and sisters like a family.
