International Webinar on ‘Role of E-Commerce in Fashion Business’

Jalandhar, April 27, 2023: Under the able guidance of Principal, PG Department of Fashion Designing organised an International Webinar on topic ‘Role of E-Commerce in Fashion Business’. 

The resource person of the session was Karmanpreet Kaur, Store Manager of international fashion brand Ardene, Canada. She guided the participants regarding the enormous heights E-commerce has achieved in the fashion industry. This is because more number of consumers are reaching out to online retailers for their fashion requirements. She also explained the different ways of promoting the brand and attracting customers online with special reference to Ardene brand. The session turned out to be a successful event as it made the participants aware about the various strategies that are undertaken globally in the Fashion Industry. 

President Naresh Kumar Budhia, Senior Vice-President Shri Vinod Dada, other members of the managing committee and Principal Prof. (Dr.) Pooja Prashar appreciated the efforts of the department in organising the event.
