Interactive Session on The Criminal & Military Justice System

Chandigarh, March 3, 2023: The Centre for Constitution and Public Policy, UILS, Panjab University organised an Interactive Session on The Criminal &Military Justice System with His Honour Judge Alan Large, JAG, United Kingdom under the guidance of Prof. Shruti Bedi, Prof. Rattan Singh and Major Navdeep Singh.Judge Large spoke about the British Criminal System and how it has progressed since the time it was set up. The Military Justice System in the UK according to him was almost at par with the Civil courts as far as the independence of British judges is concerned. The students of UILS and invited guests raised pertinent questions about the comparison between the Indian and British systems.
