Inspection Visit of NCC Group Commander at Battalion Headquarters

Jalandhar, December 19, 2025: Group Commander, NCC Group Headquarters, Brigadier A.K. Bhardwaj visited at 2 PB NCC Battalion. The visit was aimed at reviewing the functioning, training standards and overall progress of the battalion. 
The Group Commander was warmly received by Col Dalbir Singh, officiating Commanding Officer of the Battalion, who extended him a cordial welcome. During the visit, Col Dalbir Singh presented a comprehensive briefing through a PowerPoint presentation, highlighting the battalion’s progress and achievements. The presentation covered key aspects including total enrollment and dress allowance of cadets, details of annual training camps, participation in prestigious events such as Republic Day Camp (RDC), Thal Sainik Camp (TSC) and other national-level camps. Special emphasis was laid on the commendable achievements of NCC cadets. 
A Guard of Honour was impeccably organized under the supervision of Sub Major Gulzar Singh, who also ensured smooth arrangements of all logistics during the visit. The inspection was attended by Associate NCC Officers (ANOs) including Lt. Karanbir Singh, Lt. Kuldeep Sharma and Lt. Ahmed Hussain, who were present throughout the proceedings and interacted with the Group Commander. 
Brigadier A.K. Bhardwaj appreciated the professionalism, discipline and dedicated efforts of all ranks of 2 PB NCC Battalion. He commended the battalion for its consistent performance in training, camps and national-level achievements, and encouraged the staff and cadets to continue striving for excellence in nation building.
