Jalandhar, August 13, 2025: The School of Hotel Management at Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions brought the royal flavours of Rajasthan to Jalandhar with a vibrant food festival titled “Padharo Mhare Des.”

Celebrating Rajasthan’s rich culinary heritage, the event offered guests an authentic gastronomic journey crafted entirely by the budding chefs of the institute. Organised by the students of the Hotel Management Department, the festival showcased both their culinary skills and event management expertise.

From the refreshing first sip of Masala Chaas to the indulgent last spoonful of Moong Dal Halwa, visitors enjoyed a truly immersive experience in Rajasthan’s famed hospitality. The menu featured signature starters such as Mirchi Vada and Pyaz Kachori, followed by a lavish main course spread of Dal Baati Churma, Gatte ki Sabzi, Aloo Mangodi ki Sabzi, Panchmel Dal, Missi Roti, Steamed/Jeera Rice, accompanied by papad and pickles.

The dishes were prepared and sold by students, giving them valuable hands-on training in every aspect of professional hospitality – from menu planning and cooking to presentation and customer service. Guests praised the authentic flavours, traditional presentation, and warm service, while faculty coordinators emphasised that such initiatives deepen students’ understanding of India’s diverse regional cuisines.

Dr. Anup Bowry, Chairman of Innocent Hearts Group, lauded the meticulous attention to detail and dedication shown by students, faculty, and staff, noting that the event not only recreated the culinary magic of Rajasthan but also celebrated its vibrant culture, colours, and royal essence.
