Jalandhar, August 27, 2026: Innocent Hearts School celebrated the vibrant festival of Raksha Bandhan across all its five campuses—Green Model Town, Loharan, Cantt.-Jandiala Road, Noorpur Road and Kapurthala Road—with great enthusiasm and cultural fervour.
The celebrations beautifully symbolised the purity of love, affection, respect and care. The event aimed to reinforce the values associated with the sacred bond of Raksha Bandhan through a series of meaningful and creative activities. The little ones of the Pre-Primary School celebrated ‘Thread of Love’ with immense joy and creativity. They made beautiful rakhis under the guidance of their mother teachers and tied them in the hands of those who support and care for them at school. To dedicate the pious festival to the environment and acknowledge Mother Nature, the students of Grades I and II participated in Eco- Friendly Rakhis. The students of Grades III and IV displayed their creativity by making attractive eco-friendly rakhis and Rakhi cards. The activity strengthened the bond of love among siblings while encouraging creative expression and enhancing fine motor skills.
Expressing their gratitude and respect for the brave Indian soldiers, the students of Grades IV and V created tricolour- and camouflage-themed eco-friendly rakhis carrying the heartfelt message, ‘Thank You, Soldiers’. The activity reflected their love, dedication, respect and empathy for the guardians of the nation. Adding a flavourful touch to the celebrations, the students of Grades VII and VIII participated in ‘Sweets and Treats’, where they prepared delicious cookies, cupcakes and mini sandwiches.
The Raksha Bandhan celebrations across all five campuses became a memorable occasion, bringing smiles to young faces and instilling the timeless values of love, trust, gratitude, mutual respect and togetherness. The celebrations beautifully reflected how traditions can be blended with creativity, environmental consciousness and meaningful learning.
