Innocent Hearts Group Selected from North India for the Prestigious National Growth Monitoring Initiative
Under “Disha – An Initiative” of the Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, we are delighted to share that the students of the Innocent Hearts Group of Schools have been selected to participate in the prestigious National Growth Monitoring Initiative. Only ten major urban schools from across the country have been chosen for this program. In North India, Jalandhar and Dehradun are the two key centres, and among the schools in Jalandhar, Innocent Hearts Group has been primarily selected.

Jalandhar, November 25, 2025: Under “Disha – An Initiative” of the Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, we are delighted to share that the students of the Innocent Hearts Group of Schools have been selected to participate in the prestigious National Growth Monitoring Initiative. Only ten major urban schools from across the country have been chosen for this program. In North India, Jalandhar and Dehradun are the two key centres, and among the schools in Jalandhar, Innocent Hearts Group has been primarily selected.
The aim of this initiative is to identify the parameters that reflect the evolving health and well-being of children in a rapidly developing India. As part of this program, a team of experts from Hirabai Cowasji Jehangir Medical Research Institute, Pune — one of the global leaders in growth research — is currently visiting Innocent Hearts School in collaboration with specialists from Endokids Growth Clinic, Jalandhar. During this visit, precise measurements of students’ height, weight, and head circumference are being recorded.
While addressing the purpose of this initiative, Dr. Saurabh Uppal shared that growth monitoring is a simple yet highly effective method that provides accurate information about a child’s overall health, nutrition, and development. Regular monitoring helps in the early detection of any concerns, enabling timely support and intervention for children. This program will significantly contribute to the nation’s health development, while also playing a crucial role in enhancing each child’s personal well-being.
Innocent Hearts Group feels immense proud and extends heartfelt gratitude to globally renowned Pediatric Endocrinologists Dr. Anuradha Khadilkar and Dr. Vaman Khadilkar from Hirabai Cowasji Jehangir Medical Research Institute, Pune, who are world-famous specialists and represent India on international platforms due to their extensive research and contributions to growth studies in the country. With their association and guidance, the students of Innocent Hearts are becoming a valuable part of a meaningful and nationally impactful initiative.
