Innocent Hearts Group paid tribute to Father of Nation through various activities

Jalandhar, October 2, 2021: Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm in all the branches of Innocent Hearts School, Innocent Hearts college of Education and Innocent Hearts Management College. Students of school as well as
Colleges participated in the event virtually. Tiny tots dressed up as Gandhiji took their selfies and tagged on school' s Facebook page. Students of K G l and K.G. ll dressed up on the theme " Mai Bhi Gandhi" and delivered a message of Gandhi ' s teachings and moral values.
Students of Grade lll and lV participated in online storytelling on Gandhiji's life, which was held on zoom. In this, students threw light on Gandhi ji's life and his moral values. 
In order to inculcate values of Gandhi like truth, nonviolence, simplicity and tolerance in future Educators, NSS unit of Innocent Hearts College of Education, Jalandhar organised various activities on this occasion. All the student teachers attended a lecture on ‘Open thy arms to change, but don't let go of your values’, Resource person Language trainer(alumna) Ms.Tanvi spoke about Gandhi ji's life, his determination, patience and difficulties he faced in his life.
Student -teachers Nargis,Ritu,Rajni Sharma,Riya Lamba ,Doras Malhotra enacted a play with a theme of Gandhism.
On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti various activities like Quiz, Patriotic songs and storytelling were organized in IHG and the basic theme of all activities was Gandhi ji,his life and his contributions in struggle of freedom Using Google Meet platform students participated in all the activities. Teachers, during virtual classes motivated students to follow Gandhiji's teachings in their lives.
