Industry demanded some relief to small consumers

Ludhiana, October 18, 2022: Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU) had arranged a meeting with Er.Daljit Inderpal Grewal Director of Distribution, PSPCL and appraised him about various problems faced by the industry. The senior officials from PSPCL were also present in the meeting.

Upkar Singh Ahuja, President-CICU and  Pankaj Sharma, General Secretary-CICU jointly discussed the issues such as preventive maintenance of Transformers & feeders to be done by PSPCL staff in the next 2 month; PSPCL to make sure that no breakdown takes place in next months; Industry offered all types of support & cooperation to PSPCL to achieve the target; Wires where need to be lifted to be done; PSPCL to inform about power cuts well in advance to make sure that industry do not suffer losses; and PSPCL Compliant No 1912 needs to be more efficient in working as many times staff do not respond properly.

Er. Daljit Inderjit Grewal, Director-Distribution, PSPCL gave full assurance that there will be no unscheduled power cuts in the industrial sector. He also assured that Information to consumers will improve, Maintenance staff will be more accountable, Repair time will decrease & there will be no unscheduled power cuts.

Phuman Singh, Finance Secretary, Sarvjit Singh, Gautam Mahotra, Vice President, Anil Arora, Vineet Gupta and other prominent members were present in meeting.
