Ludhiana, August 13, 2013: Some workers of a hosiery unit on Bahadarke Road here were allegedly beaten by the musclemen of the hosiery owners.
As per the available information, the police instead of registering case against the alleged musclemen have registered case against the workers.
To demand justice the workers under the banner of Hosiery Mazdoor Union will take out a peaceful procession from the railway station at 9 am on August 14 to the Mini Secretariat and submit memorandum to Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana.
