Jalandhar, October 17, 2022: Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions organized an Industrial visit to PIMS Hospital Jalandhar, for the students of School of Medical Science.
The objective of visit was to provide an exposure to the students about practical working environment of medical industry and acquaint them with new technologies of Medical Laboratory. Students visited Blood bank, Microbiology Museum, Biochemistry lab and Pathology Museum of PIMS Hospital.
Dr. H S Lamba (Head, Blood Bank Department) enlightened the students with various infection control mechanisms like Laboratory Hygiene, Needle Stick Injury and Hand Washing. He gave his best wishes to the students for their best future in this noble profession.
Students learned about the current work methods and employment practices of industry. Shambhavi Thakur and Manpreet Kaur, Assistant Prof. School of Medical Science, accompanied the students during visit.
