Choreographed by fashion icon Marc Robinson and featuring Louis Philippe as the wardrobe partner and Ambience Mall, as the Venue Partner the event brought alive the spirit of Indian weddings through fashion, flair, and storytelling.
India Weds with Shoppers Stop is a celebration of the modern Indian wedding, capturing the joy, colour, and togetherness that define it. The campaign reimagines wedding fashion beyond the bride and groom, spotlighting the entire wedding tribe of family and friends who make every celebration special.
The show captured the beauty, passion, and charm that characterise Indian weddings in a captivating celebration of couture, culture, and craftsmanship. With each look reflecting the feelings that make these ceremonies timeless, Shoppers Stop's fashion showcase offered a visual narrative that outlined the various moods and moments of a wedding.
The fashion showcase featured four distinct fashion narratives, each curated to represent a different wedding celebration:
Haldi & Mehendi Look – Radiant with colour and joy, this segment featured collections from Kashish and Bandeya, and a range of leading ethnic wear brands
Sangeet Look – Embodying glamour and energy, this line sparkled with embellishments and fluid silhouettes, featuring ensembles from Aarke by Ritu Kumar that were perfect for evenings filled with music, dance, and celebration
Cocktail & Reception Look – Sophisticated and contemporary, these ensembles combined rich fabrics with elegant designs, ideal for modern soirées and after-parties. The looks were accentuated with exquisite jewellery by Solitario, adding a touch of sparkle and sophistication to the evening.
Wedding Collection – The grand finale showcased timeless ensembles of regal craftsmanship, blending traditional artistry with modern refinement. The segment featured Louis Philippe as the exclusive wardrobe partner, bringing its signature sophistication and contemporary flair.
Each segment paid homage to India’s rich traditions while reimagining them for today’s discerning, fashion-forward wedding tribe.
