Jalandhar/Kapurthala: “We all know that on the day of August 15, the entire nation celebrates our freedom and remembers our freedom fighters. On this day it is also a time to remember our efforts towards our free country's growth. We, at IKGPTU, are doing our best to provide skilled manpower to industry at global level and we have to continue our efforts towards development & economic growth of the country". This inspirational message was delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Kumar Sharma, Vice Chancellor on the occasion of 75th Independence Day event during a short ceremony held at the main campus. VC Prof. (Dr.) Sharma hoisted the National Flag.
The University celebrated 75th Independence Day with full colors of patriotism. The security jawans gave respect to the tri-color National flag. National anthem was performed by all present officials & the faculty members of the University.
