The IIT Delhi Alumni Association (IITDAA) successfully hosted the IITD Alumni Leadership Conclave 2026 on Saturday, at Hyatt Regency, New Delhi. The Conclave brought together over 400+ IIT Delhi alumni, including CXOs, thinkers, founders, policymakers, investors, and business and technology leaders, for an evening of insightful dialogue and collaboration, engaging the wider network of 65,000+ global alumni.

New Delhi, March 21, 2026: The IIT Delhi Alumni Association (IITDAA) successfully hosted the IITD Alumni Leadership Conclave 2026 on Saturday, at Hyatt Regency, New Delhi. The Conclave brought together over 400+ IIT Delhi alumni, including CXOs, thinkers, founders, policymakers, investors, and business and technology leaders, for an evening of insightful dialogue and collaboration, engaging the wider network of 65,000+ global alumni.
The event witnessed the presence of Shashank Mani, MP Lok Sabha (Deoria UP), Dr Satyapal Singh, Former Minister of State for Human Resource Development (Higher Education), Govt. of India.
The theme of the Conclave was “Era of Symbiotic Atmanirbharta: Cooperation as a Competitive Edge," which emphasized on the growing importance of collaboration as a core strategic pillar of innovation, resilience, and sustainable growth. The discussions focused on the reality that self-reliance in today’s global landscape is increasingly being shaped by strong capabilities complemented by meaningful global partnerships.
The conclave included engaging panel discussions on emerging themes that are shaping the future of technology, entrepreneurship, innovation, and education.
The talk about “AI and Humanity: Friend, Foe, or Future? - Adoption, Absorption, Application” discussed the evolving role of artificial intelligence in shaping industries and society. The esteemed panelists emphasized the need to move beyond viewing AI as a tool and instead embrace it as a collaborative partner, while ensuring ethical frameworks, data privacy, and human-centric design remain central to adoption for the future.
The discussion on “Ideas to IPO: Start-up Ecosystem Enablers" focused on the journey of building resilient and scalable ventures. Strong ecosystem support, mentorship, and effective partnerships between founders and investors were highlighted by the speakers as key to facilitating value creation.
Another discussion on “Inclusive Learning & Education for the Unknown” explored the urgent need to reimagine education systems to prepare individuals for an uncertain and rapidly changing future. The conversation emphasized lifelong learning, adaptability, and stronger collaboration between academia and industry to bridge the skills gap.
A key highlight of the event was the felicitation of 44 candidates from the IIT Delhi Alumni community who secured top ranks in the UPSC Civil Service Examination 2025, reflecting the institute's continued contribution to public service and nation-building.
