ICAR-CIPHET organised COVID vaccination Amrit Mahotsav

Ludhiana, August 22, 2022: ICAR-Central Institute of Post-harvest Engineering and Technology (CIPHET) organised “COVID vaccination Amrit Mahotsav” today, a new initiative of Government of India to celebrate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. 

This initiative by the Government is for 75 days from July 15 to September 30, 2022, for providing free precaution dose to all eligible adult population who have completed six months (or 26 weeks) from the date of administration of the 2nd dose. 

As a part of this initiative, a vaccination camp for precaution dose (Covishield and Covaxin) was organized at ICAR-CIPHET, Ludhiana with the help of the medical team from Government Dispensary, Ayali Khurd.  

During this camp total 130 individuals got vaccinated. In this camp 3 person got first dose, 4 person got second dose and 123 persons got their booster dose.
