Hyderabad FC, Sporthood join hands to promote grassroots and youth development in Telangana

Hyderabad: Indian Super League’s defending Champions Hyderabad FC and Sporthood have entered into a long-term partnership agreement to deliver cutting edge grassroots football training for kids aged 5 to 18 years across Telangana under the banner of Sporthood - HFC Soccer Schools.

Through this partnership, youngsters across Telangana will get access to world class football coaching delivered across schools, football turfs, residential complexes and public grounds with a clear player development pathway to the Under-13 and Under-15 Youth Squads of Hyderabad FC and then onto the Reserve Squads and the First Team.

“This partnership furthers our club’s vision of development of local talent, which has been a key objective for us. we intend to train 10,000 kids under this partnership by end of 2023,” said Varun Tripuraneni, Principal Owner, Hyderabad FC. 

Sporthood is the largest grassroots coaching network in South India with 125+ sports coaching centers across Karnataka and Kerala. The technology capabilities brought to the field by Sporthood will ensure that the progress of each and every kid will be closely tracked and shared with the scouting team of Hyderabad FC on a real-time basis. Parents will also be able to track the progress of their kids through the Sporthood app (available in iOS and Android).
