Horizon School of Excellence hosts First Annual Sports Meet- Khelotsav 2023

Ludhiana, December 12, 2023: Horizon School Of Excellence, Bhamian Road, organized the very first sports meet - KHELOTSAV 2023 in the school premises. 

Bipin Gupta, founder Vice Chairman of the school was the Chief Guest for the occasion. He highlighted the unique initiative of Nehru Sidhant Kender Trust in partnership with Shri Gow Rakshni Sabha to provide holistic education to economically disadvantaged children. Horizon School Of Excellence is committed towards nurturing the potential and talents of it’s students. Khelotsav -2023 is an excellent platform for students to showcase their talent and engage in healthy competition.

The sports meet began with an impressive & well-coordinated March past by students from Josh, Satya, Tejas and Viraat house. Various races like Hula hoop partner race for Pravesh Vatika students, Obstacle race for Upvan students, Hurdle race for Grade -I students & Relay race for Grade -II students were conducted.

A well-rehearsed ‘Stick Drill’ performance, Yoga display and a very energetic ‘Power Bhangra’ performance added to the excitement and extravaganza.

To make parents a part of Khelotsav 2023, races were organized for fathers and mothers. Prize distribution ceremony took place thereafter, wherein participants were felicitated with medals and certificates for their enthralling performances.

Principal, Jasdeep Kaur proposed a vote of thanks which was followed by the school song and national anthem.
