Hyderabad, April 17, 2023: Fostering a culture of safe riding habits and responsible driving, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) and Hyderabad Traffic Police celebrated the 8th year anniversary of its Traffic Training Park at Goshamahal, Begum Bazar, Hyderabad.

Aiming to raise road safety awareness among the citizens, HMSI in collaboration with Hyderabad Traffic Police inaugurated the traffic-training park in Hyderabad in April 2015. Since its inception, HMSI’s road safety instructors have successfully educated nearly 1.77 lac people of Hyderabad- more than 1.17 lakh kids and nearly 60,000 new and existing riders (including both male and females) through its daily trainings for all age groups.

Speaking on the initiative, Vinay Dhingra – Senior Director, HR, Admin, IT & Corporate Affairs, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India said, “Being a socially responsible corporate, HMSI constantly encourages safe riding practices to bring a positive change. Realizing the sensitivity of Hyderabad traffic, we inaugurated traffic-training park in the city in association with Hyderabad Traffic Police. Today, we are delighted to announce that the traffic-training park has spread road safety awareness to more than 1.77 lac people of the city. Road user behavioral changes are necessary to help reduce and prevent road collisions. With our training programs that cater to participants across all age groups, we will continue to instill more discipline among the citizens of Hyderabad to make them responsible road users.”
