Jalandhar, March 27, 2015: PG Deptt. of Commerce and Management of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organised a guest lecture on ‘Mutual Funds: A Safer Avenue for Investment’ for the students of B.Voc (Banking and Financial Services).
Vikram Sood, Vice President, UTI Mutual Funds, Jalandhar was the resource person.
College Principal Dr Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj welcomed the guest and encouraged the students to take benefit from the lecture. Some of the vital issues in the area of mutual funds such as different modes of investment in mutual funds, tax aspects, safety aspects and career opportunities in mutual fund industry were the main thrust of the event. The lecture ended with an interactive and doubt clearing session.
Head of the Commerce Department, Dr. Kanwaldeep Kaur, gave a vote of thanks to the resource person for sharing his knowledge and enlightening the students.
