Nilokheri, June 15, 2026: The primary objective of the 'Yuktdhara' portal is to ensure transparency in development works, minimize errors, and provide workers with timely access to their entitled benefits. Dr. Virender Singh Chauhan, Director of the Haryana Institute of Rural Development (HIRD), stated this while addressing participants at the inaugural session of a program focused on the GIS-based monitoring of Gram Panchayats via 'Yuktdhara'.

Program coordinator Kamaldeep Sangwan welcomed Dr. Chauhan by presenting a bouquet. Dr. Chauhan formally inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp.

HIRD Director Dr. Chauhan remarked that this GIS-based geospatial planning and monitoring system facilitates better planning of development projects, accurate mapping of assets, and effective monitoring of works. He emphasized that the success of this initiative hinges on delivering the benefits of schemes to genuinely eligible individuals through the use of technology.

Recalling the sacrifices made by freedom fighters, Dr. Virender Singh Chauhan stated that the resolution for a 'Viksit Bharat 2047' (Developed India 2047) aims not merely for economic progress but for inclusive and balanced development. He noted that integrating technology into rural development schemes would strengthen transparency, accountability, and public participation.

He explained that objectives which could not be fully realized earlier through MGNREGA would now be achieved more effectively through this new framework and advanced systems. Anil Kumar, an expert from NIRDPR, Hyderabad, stated that the three-day training program would provide detailed information on all aspects of the 'Yuktdhara' portal. He assured participants that all their queries and doubts would be addressed, enabling them to utilize the system effectively in their respective areas.

Additional Block Programme Officer Sneh Bharti stated that the active cooperation of every citizen is essential to achieving the goal of a developed India by 2047. Sushil Kumar, Sandeep Kumar, Wazir Singh, Additional Block Programme Officers from various districts, Saurabh Arora, Mohit Sharma, Manisha, and others were present on this occasion.
