Heroin along with arms and ammunition recovered by BSF in Ferozepur Sector

Ferozepur, February 16, 2022: The BSF troops belonging to 103 Battalion of BSF today recovered bottles containing 3.950 kg heroin along with 1 pistol (Made in China), 2 magazines and 26 live rounds in Tarn Taran area. The estimated cost of the heroin recovered by BSF is Rs.20 crores (approximate).
As per information available, the BSF troops on duty observed some suspicious movement and heard a sound during the wee hours. Immediately, an alert was sounded and a search operation was carried out during which the consignment was recovered.
