Haryana women's team wins gold and the men's team wins silver in the Badminton National Team Championship 2025
HBA announces a prize of Rs. 10 lakh for the women's and Rs. 5 lakh for the men's team
Rohtak, December 24, 2025: Haryana's players, who are known for winning medals in various sports, have now made their mark in badminton across the country.
The Haryana men's and women's badminton teams achieved historic victories with outstanding performances in the National Team Championship 2025 held in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.
Haryana Badminton Association (HBA) General Secretary Ajay Singhania said that the Haryana women's badminton team defeated the host state Andhra Pradesh in the final match and won the gold. The Haryana men's team also won a silver medal after a tough match against Tamil Nadu.
HBA President Devendra Singh (Retd. IAS) and General Secretary Ajay Singhania extended their heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all the players for this remarkable achievement. On behalf of the HBA, they also announced a prize of Rs. 10 lakh for the gold medal-winning women's team and Rs. 5 lakh for the silver medal-winning men's team.
Singhania said that the Haryana women's team comprises Unnati Hooda, Anmol Kharb, Devika Sihag, Garima Kundu, Sanvi Aneja, Apoorva, Sakshi Gehlawat, Ishu Malik, Tannu Malik, and Ridhi Kaur Tur. The men's team includes Gagan, Manraj Singh, Gautam Arora, Manav Chaudhary, Bharat Raghav, Aryan Sappiah, Mayank Rana, Aryan Hooda, Pankaj, and Dishant Ahlawat. Ravi Singla is the coach of the Haryana Badminton team.
