Jassowal, Ludhiana, February 2, 2026:  Strengthening Ludhiana’s position on the global sports map, Harvest Tennis Academy, Jassowal, a flagship sports facility of Harvest Campus, will host the Junior Asian Soft Tennis Championship 2026 from February 04 to 08 as the official Venue Partner. The prestigious championship will witness participation from over 600 junior players representing 23 Asian countries, competing in Under-15, Under-18 and Under-21 categories.
 
Built to international benchmarks, Harvest Tennis Academy features 14 world-class tennis courts, modern training facilities and professional event infrastructure, making it one of the finest tennis destinations in North India. Nearly 100 international officials and support staff will supervise the competition, while the event is expected to bring close to 700 international visitors to Ludhiana, giving a major boost to sports tourism.

Sandeep Singh, Director, Harvest Campus, said the event aligns with the institution’s vision of providing young athletes global exposure while strengthening sports culture in the state.
 
Arrangements have been made for players and officials to stay in five-star hotels, while special transport facilities have been organized for smooth team movement. Punjab Soft Tennis Association, General Secretary, Narenderpal Singh said that all preparations for the successful organization of the championship are being completed on time. He added that the event will not only provide international exposure to players but will also help promote sports culture and tourism in Punjab, with medical facilities, food arrangements and other essential services being ensured.
 
Teams from Japan, Korea, China, Chinese Taipei, Thailand, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Philippines and other Asian nations will participate. The Pakistan team will not attend due to visa-related issues.
