Bhishma Pitamah (Manish Wadhwa) and Dronacharya (Jiten Lalwani) are revered as guiding forces for the young princes on screen, the actors have also formed a warm mentor-like bond with the young cast behind the scenes. On the occasion of Guru Purnima, the two actors reflected on valuable lessons they hope today’s generation and the kids learn.
Manish Wadhwa, who essays the role of Bhishma Pitamah, shared, “"Whenever I get the opportunity, I share a few lessons from my own experience with the children. I always remind them to enjoy their childhood, have fun off-screen and then give their complete focus when it's time to perform. One thing I also tell them is not to get carried away by comments. Good comments can sometimes bring attitude, while bad comments can become discouraging. I encourage them to give themselves completely to the character on screen but never lose their own identity. I also tell them that if they are giving their hundred percent and truly enjoying their work, that is why they are being appreciated. Never complain about your work. I want them to learn the good qualities, and I'm also learning from them at the same time.
Jiten Lalwani, who portrays Dronacharya, added, "Children learn the most when they feel comfortable around you, so I always try to be their friend first. We laugh, talk and spend time together and whenever they ask me something, I happily share my experience with them. I feel guidance should happen naturally. Sometimes we discuss acting, sometimes discipline, and sometimes it's just about enjoying the process. They're an incredibly talented bunch and while I guide them whenever I can, I honestly feel I'm learning from them every day as well."
