Guru Nanak Dev University 12th Best amongst all Universities in the country

Amritsar, 10 July, 2015: Guru Nanak Dev University once again proved its supremacy under the able stewardship of Vice-Chancellor, Prof.A.S.Brar by achieving superior positions in the field of higher education in the country. As per survey conducted by India Today Group-Nielsen survey of India’s best universities in terms of ranking, this year Guru Nanak Dev University is placed at 5th rank among top five state universities of the country. This University is at no. 12th position in the country and has risen from rank 17 in 2014.

It is pertinent to mention that as per National Assessment and Accreditation Council, Bangalore (NAAC) rating Guru Nanak Dev University has 3.51 score and is among the top 8 universities of the country. This university has already earned the coveted titles like UPE & CPEPA and is the first university to introduce Choice Based Continuous Evaluation and Credit System , this not only raised the standards of teaching but also brought about transparency in examination and evaluation. This system was based on the Trust on the integrity of teachers.
