Guest lecture on VUCA environment creativity and innovation paradigm

Jalandhar: PG Department of Commerce and Management organized a Guest Lecture on VUCA Environment Creativity and Innovation Paradigm. The resource person of the day was Dr. Jasveen Kaur, Head, Business School, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.

Addressing the students, she said today business environment is changing rapidly. So, considering the present scenario what we need today is the right direction towards the target and team work. To establish a successful business today, one needs to work together entertaining everyone’s perception and views and then figuring out the correct path and idea. If team work is not considered then it can seriously question the success rate. The students were involved in brainstorming activities which were innovative and creative at the same time.

The students also played a game named “The Six Thinking Hats Game”; thus understanding the importance of team work and guidance and learnt the business problem solving process by actually participating in activity.

Principal Dr. Sucharita Sharma talking about this guest lecture said that such workshops and exposure is utmost necessary and beneficial for students who wants to set their marks in entrepreneurship. She appreciated Dr. Monika Arora, HOD, Commerce and other faculty members of department for successfully organizing the guest lecture.
