Faculty of Natural Sciences at GNA University organized a Guest Lecture on Understanding Nanomaterials for Innovation and Technological Advances for the students of Faculty of Natural Sciences & Engineering. The main objective behind holding this lecture was to aware the students about the science of nanomaterials, and its advances in technical era.

Guest Lecture on Understanding Nanomaterials for Innovation and Technological Advances at GNA University

Jalandhar, November 29, 2022: Faculty of Natural Sciences at GNA University organized a Guest Lecture on Understanding Nanomaterials for Innovation and Technological Advances for the students of Faculty of Natural Sciences & Engineering. The main objective behind holding this lecture was to aware the students about the science of nanomaterials, and its advances in technical era.

Dr. Hitesh Sharma, Professor, IKG Punjab Technical University, Kapurthala, was the guest speaker for the respective session. The lecture commenced with the welcome speech delivered by Dr. Barjinder Kaur, Assistant Professor, FNS. Speakers explained the science behind the nanomaterials. He also explained the applications and its uses in different fields. Around 145 students of GNA University and 10 teaching faculty members participated in this guest lecture and learnt new things about the technology.

At the end, questions were raised by the students which were very well-taken and duly addressed by the resource person and answered to the utmost satisfaction of the students. The session ended on an enthusiastic and a learning note. At the end, vote of thanks was given by Head of Department, Yogesh Bhalla.

Gurdeep Sihra, the Pro-Chancellor appreciated the endeavours of the Department for organising such trending sessions for the budding students.
