Guest Lecture on “From Idea to Income: An Entrepreneurial Spirit " at GNA University

Institution’s Innovation Council of GNA University and GNA University Technology Business Incubator in collaboration with School of Liberal Arts, School of  Hospitality and School of Physical Education organized a Guest Lecture on ‘From Idea  Income: An Entrepreneurial Spirit’. The resource person was Gurpreet Kaur, Founder, Wise Word Academia. The key objective behind organizing this talk was to inspire young and budding entrepreneurs in the institution to turn their business ideas into income sources along with their academics.

Jalandhar, November 20, 2023: Institution’s Innovation Council of GNA University and GNA University Technology Business Incubator in collaboration with School of Liberal Arts, School of  Hospitality and School of Physical Education organized a Guest Lecture on ‘From Idea  Income: An Entrepreneurial Spirit’. The resource person was Gurpreet Kaur, Founder, Wise Word Academia. The key objective behind organizing this talk was to inspire young and budding entrepreneurs in the institution to turn their business ideas into income sources along with their academics. 

Gurpreet Kaur emphasised the need to have business ideas for generating extra income. She advised one must move step-by-step to establish one’s business in the market. She encouraged the students to pursue freelancing as there are multiple platforms available nowadays to earn along with studying and serve as initial funding for the business idea. 
The expert also shared incites from her personal experiences regarding personality development and interview skills which will play a major role during a particular job. She also shared some tools with students that they can use during the initial period of their business.

Dr. Disha Khanna, Dean, School of Liberal Arts, Deepak Kumar, Dean, School of Hospitality, Dr. Parampreet Singh, Dean School of Physical Education and other faculty members offered token of gratitude to the resource person. The students got various incites in transforming their brilliant idea into a business start up.
