Guest lecture on “From Classroom to Corner Office - Meet & Greet with Alumni"

Chandigarh, February 1, 2024: ECRC Cell of the University Institute of Applied Management Sciences( UIAMS), Panjab University organized a guest lecture on "From Classroom to Corner Office - Meet & Greet with Alumni" on Thursday. 

The key resource person for this workshop was Tamanna Aggarwal, a distinguished alumnus of MBA Capital Markets batch 2021-23. Tamanna Aggarwal provided valuable insights and guidance to students by sharing her career journey and experiences in the industry. Assisting students in transitioning between academic studies and the workplace, she offered advice on topics such as resume writing, interview preparation, and networking. She also encouraged them to actively seek opportunities, build connections, and continuously learn and adapt to succeed in their careers.

Professor Monika Aggarwal, Director, UIAMS, welcomed the guest speaker and highlighted the impact of these lectures on student career development as they provide a real-world perspective and insights from individuals who have successfully transitioned from academic studies to the professional world. In his opening remarks, Dr. Manu Sharma, Faculty Co-ordinator of the ECRC Cell, expressed appreciation for the guest speaker and facilitated her. The session ended with a question-and-answer session.
