Ludhiana, February 23, 2026: Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority (GLADA) has launched a special campaign to recover from allottees/colonialists in the last seven months, which has yielded encouraging results.
From July 2025 to Feb 20, 2026, the Land Office has received a total amount of about Rs. 186 crore under various HEADs which is much more than the target set by GLADA. It is also worth mentioning here that the Punjab Government had also launched an exemption scheme in which the allottees were given exemption from interest on old duty and non-construction. Now this scheme of the government has been re-launched which will continue till March 31, which is getting a great response from the allottees.
Apart from the above, EDC from colonialists and various projects. An amount of about Rs. 191 crore has been received as a grant and about Rs. 25 crore as a licensing fee. This amount is also more than the budget set by GLADA.
Apart from this, an amount of about Rs. 7 crore has been received for regularizing the plots and buildings of unauthorized colonies and issuing NOCs. 
All these achievements by GLADA have been possible only due to the able guidance of the higher authorities.
