Gogi discussed PAU Retiree Association's demands

Ludhiana, July 13, 2022: Today an executive meeting of the PAU Retirees’ Welfare Association held in Sukhdev Singh Bhawan under the Presidentship of Jila Ram Bansal. 

Gurpreet Bassi (Gogi), MLA attended the meeting for one and half an hour and discussed pension on the 1st of every month and grant in SBI direct. He contacted on phone the Director of Agriculture Punjab and the Registrar in this regard. He also assured for opening an Ayurvedic Dispensary in PAU campus. 

Naresh ACLA also attended the meeting. Cases of Junior Seniors, Master Scale, pending cases of revised pension from 1.1.16 were discussed in detail. The issue of appointment of regular Vice Chancellor and increasing the Audit Staff was also cropped up. 

In the end, Gogi, MLA assured to take up our all cases mentioned in the memorandum submitted to him on priority and got finalised soon. To finalise all pending cases a meeting with ACLA and other concerned authorities will be scheduled soon. In the end it was also decided to call a General Body Meeting on 9th August, 2022.
