GJIMT Launches Cyber Security and AI Innovation Labs in Association with National Cyber Security Standards
Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology, Phase 2, proudly inaugurated its state-of-the-art Cyber Security and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Innovation Labs on its campus today. This initiative demonstrates the institution's commitment to future-ready education and industry-integrated learning. The labs have been launched in association with the National Cyber Security Standards (NCSS). CyberCops serves as the hands-on implementation partner for the cyber security infrastructure, while AIINFOX is the technical collaborator for artificial intelligence initiatives.

Mohali, September 5, 2025: Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology, Phase 2, proudly inaugurated its state-of-the-art Cyber Security and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Innovation Labs on its campus today. This initiative demonstrates the institution's commitment to future-ready education and industry-integrated learning. The labs have been launched in association with the National Cyber Security Standards (NCSS). CyberCops serves as the hands-on implementation partner for the cyber security infrastructure, while AIINFOX is the technical collaborator for artificial intelligence initiatives.
The newly established Cyber Security Lab is equipped to provide students with real-time exposure to critical areas like network security protocols, ethical hacking, and vulnerability assessment. It will also cover firewall and intrusion detection systems, cyber forensics, and data recovery tools. The lab features a simulation environment to prepare students for responding to cyber threats. Similarly, the AI Innovation Lab will focus on key topics such as machine learning, deep learning models, computer vision, and natural language processing. The lab will also provide students with practical knowledge through real-life case studies related to business and healthcare, ensuring they are well-prepared for the industry. During the launch, experts conducted live demonstrations of attack detection models, AI-powered image classification systems, and data breach simulations.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Aneet Bedi, Director of GJIMT, stated that the management has integrated Artificial Intelligence across all academic streams starting this semester. This aims to equip students with the industry-relevant technical skills needed for the future. The initiative aligns with India’s national vision of 'Digital Shakti' and 'Cyber Surakshit Bharat,' which encourages institutions to invest in scalable and secure digital ecosystems.
