Ginger announces signing of new hotel in Zirakpur

Chandigarh: Ginger announces the signing of a new hotel in Zirakpur, Chandigarh. The hotel will be designed around the brand’s lean luxe philosophy of offering a vibrant, contemporary and seamless hospitality experience to its guests. The hotel is a fully fitted lease. 
 
Commenting on the signing, Ms. Deepika Rao, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Ginger Hotels, said, “We are delighted to partner with Silicon Constructions Pvt Ltd for this hotel. Zirakpur is a fast-growing city in the Chandigarh metropolitan region and Ginger, with its energizing new experience, is well poised to capture the growing demand of the city of Chandigarh.”
 
The hotel is a brown-field mixed use development project, located in Zirakpur. It is part of Dhillon Plaza, which is located amidst a buzzing commercial hub on National Highway 152 connecting Chandigarh and Delhi. The hotel will feature 110 rooms, an all-day diner, a bar, two meeting rooms and a fitness centre.
 
Zirakpur is a satellite town neighbouring Chandigarh, the first planned city of India. It is the hub of real estate and commercial development with easy access to IT City Mohali and the Chandigarh International Airport. Zirakpur is also the wedding capital of the region with numerous wedding venues.
 
This will be IHCL’s second hotel in Chandigarh.
