GGNIMT’s NSS Unit & Red Ribbon Club celebrate International Youth Day
The NSS Unit and Red Ribbon Club of GGN Institute of Management & Technology, Ghumar Mandi organized a CPR Training & Adolescents Health Awareness Program in association with Tech Mahindra Foundation. This program was organized to commemorate the International Youth Day and more than 100 student members participated in this training program.

Ludhiana, August 14, 2025: The NSS Unit and Red Ribbon Club of GGN Institute of Management & Technology, Ghumar Mandi organized a CPR Training & Adolescents Health Awareness Program in association with Tech Mahindra Foundation. This program was organized to commemorate the International Youth Day and more than 100 student members participated in this training program.
The event was inaugurated by Prof. Manjit Singh Chhabra, Director of GGNIMT. He warmly welcomed the guests and emphasized on the importance of life skills like CPR-Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation in today’s stress driven world. Nitish Sharma, Region Head for Tech Mahindra Foundation provided an insightful briefing about the healthcare initiatives being undertaken by Tech Mahindra Foundation for skilling the youth for community healthcare and medical services.
Shahdeen, Trainer for CPR demonstrated the process and also encouraged the students to administer CPR on models. More than 40 students participated in training on CPR for adults & infants.
Dr. Harpreet Singh, Principal GGNIMT proposed the vote of thanks to Tech Mahindra Foundation for conducting the program at GGNIMT. He also appreciated the efforts of GGNIMT NSS Unit Coordinators Prof. Jagmeet Singh, Prof. Gurleen Kaur and faculty team for motivating the students to participate in the program.
