GGNIMTians imbibe Customer Relationship Skills at Tanishq Akshaya Tritiya Fest

Ludhiana, May 1, 2025: More than 16 BBA & BCA students of Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management & Technology (GGNIMT), Ghumar Mandi, participated in the Tanishq Akshaya Tritiya Festival at Link Road, Ludhiana and Nawanshahr. Students assisted the Tanishq team in showcasing jewellery, handling queries and billing related activities. Kanwaldeep Singh, Business Partner, Tanishq was impressed by the commitment and focus of students. He advised them to maintain this enthusiasm and proactive attitude as these are critical for success as professionals.
Prof. Manjit Singh Chhabra, Director GGNIMT emphasized on the importance of pursuing live projects for the students, while pursuing the professional courses, as the experience gained during the projects serves as a foundation for team work and leadership in life. He also expressed his gratitude to Mr. Kamaldeep Singh for recruiting GGNIMTians for projects and final placement. Dr. Harpreet Singh, Principal GGNIMT appreciated the efforts of Training & Placement led by Dr. Parvinder Singh for facilitating the live projects as these contribute to the holistic development of students. He also asserted that GGNIMTians perceive live projects as a simulation for the challenges to be faced in terms of customer relationship after joining companies.
This project helped me learn new things and also boosted my confidence were the views of Gagandeep Singh, a BCA student. Muskan another BCA student was happy to learn about professional retailing, customer handling and selling. Neha Aggarwal a BBA student found the experience very enriching as she was able to get hands on experience at CRM software, handling customers and also being a member of a high profile team that handles big ticket sales.
